A document shown on a product page is published only when the catalog dataset explicitly maps that file to the named product record. The mapping helps preserve traceability, but it does not automatically make the file the certificate for a future order.
Check that the product identity on the page and the identity visible in the document agree. Then review any batch number, date, analytical method, result, and approval information that is legible in the file itself.
For a sourcing decision, request the documentation applicable to the material under quotation. The response should confirm whether a current COA, HPLC record, MS record, or another requested file will be supplied.
When no file is mapped, the correct action is to ask for the current document set. A report belonging to another product must never be reused to fill the gap.
